Wanda Jackson (USA) started her long lasting career in the age of 15 (after winning a talent-contest) with her own radio show!

1954 she had her first Hit-Record in the US-Country-Charts with ’You Can't Have My Love’! She was then already called ’Queen of Rockabilly’!

1955
she toured with ELVIS PRESLEY, who persuaded her to go on recording ‘hard’ Rock’n’Roll-Songs!
1959 ’Fujiyama Mama’ went to Number One in Japan and in 1960 ’Let's Have A Party’ became her first worldwide Number One and remains the absolute everlasting partyrunner since!

More Top-20-Songs followed with ’Mean, Mean Man’, ’Stupid Cupid’, ’Riot In Cellblock Number Nine’ or ’Right Or Wrong’ and 1964 ’Santo Domingo’ (sung in German) became another Number One in Switzer-land, Austria & Germany!
